She looks anorexic to me. Coupled with being a fanatic jogger I'd say she has control issues.
I'm sure she's thankful that her pastor has agreed to be spokesman. She's probably humiliated and scared of what's going to happen next.

An obsessive-compulsive personality who knows it is wrong to shoplift, but can't help herself. An anorexic who knows she is slowly killing herself but can't stop doing this to herself.
A bipolar manic-depressive unable to stop her mood swings. A fantasy reversion to her childhood that running away from problems solves them.
