This bill is designed to increase legal immigration to current levels, arranging for illegals to get legal residence. It must be stopped because it's really an amnesty and we already have way too much immigration (legal and illegal) as it stands.
Look at the names attached to the bill: McCain and Kennedy. Isn't that "enough said?"
Wall Street loves this. They can't seem to do without those bottom rung workers who'll do the jobs we Americans won't do, eh? Baloney!

Heard this on NPR yesterday. American Chamber of Commerce loves it. It's "bipartisan" so it must be good. [/sarcasm]

I hate to admit it, but this is a better amnesty program than GW has proposed. Good positioning, politically, by McKennedy.
At least we'd be getting something out of the illegals.
That said, I am against any amnesty program for illegals.
(Check out the thread on the border patrol be told to limit their arrests in Arizona.)

Deport them all. If they're proficient in English, they can teach it to other Mexicans, Salvadorans, Dominicans, etc.. If they have 2,000 dollars, let them put it to use in their native economies. If they're not criminals, good for them.
Petition to secure our borders
My question is: When are the American people going to get a break from this illegal colonization?
