Hmmm, are tail hooks planed for this baby? Seems to be a long extension at the tail in the first two pictures in post #6.

The F-22 is a very capable aircraft and this country will be sorely mistaken to purchase the small number that have presently ordered.
There are critics who call the F-22 gold plated and an aircraft that is not needed. Well thats the same thing they said about the F-15 and F-16 which are some of the most capable fighters in the world.
Just because we have the most capable fighters today does not me we will have them ten years from now.
The United States was not granted air superiority as a birthright. The U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy and Marine Pilots had to fight like hell to get it and keep it. Some of those pilots paid with their lives.
