Graham just said that he and Dewine would have voted FOR the filibuster.

McCain did a lot of things that are wrong, but he didn't sit out Vietnam in that cell. Indeed, nearly everything that he did wrong can arguably be traced back to that cell.

I agree. The Supreme Court Nominees are the big prize. Frist is sticking to his guns. They are trying to get this done without poisining the political waters for the remainder of the Bush presidency. I have a sense Frist is going to make people draw lines go opn record with the Owen cloture vote. The "deal" may have been a carrot to draw the rats out to see what they were willing to offer. Needless to say, both sides got a lot of battle info.

WHY IS EVERYBODY TALKING AS IF THE OTHER 2 JUSTICES HAVE BEEN THROWN OVERBOARD??? Is it just assumed that these 2, who are LESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! controversial than the others will not be brought up???? If so, why is that assumed. Please help my dizzy mind.
