John Kasich to oppose DeWine?
Sean Hannity Program | May 27, 2005Hannity | Zechariah11

Posted on 05/27/2005 2:11:04 PM PDT by Zechariah11

On the Sean Hannity Program today there was serious discussion that former Congressman John Kasich could challenge Senator Mike DeWine in next year's Republican primary in Ohio. Besides being a former congressman Kasich is known as a fill-in host of Fox News Channel.

A great idea--and be sure a good conservative runs against Chafee.

Oh, this would be perfect if only to force DeWine to spend lots and lots of money and have to answer question after question after question.

But I'm convinced Kaisich would win.

I noticed that the younger DeWine is trying to distance himself from the elder's Rino-capitulation.

Thanks for the link. It's time to urge him to run. Hannity and talk show host Cunningham promised to campaign vigorously for him if he decides to enter.

Announce and my check is sent.

IMO, wouldn't hurt if activists in nearby states volunteered to work his campaign either if he does announce. Something like what was during for the Presidential campaign when people came from across the country to work the ground.

DeWine needs to be taken out.

Sean was speaking with Ohio talk show host Bill Cunningham who said that John Kasich was sending out trial ballons, measuring interest in a run against Dewine.

Also, can we get a statewide ping Tony.

They did? Good! I'm going to catch the replay of this segment on my local radio in a few minutes. Conservatives across the country must teach these people they represent THE PEOPLE. The Elites seem to have forgotton they are not guarenteed power by flipping off their base.

Why did Kasich decide to leave congress in the first place, if anyone happens to know?

So in 2006 we can have:

Dewine vs. John Kasich (OH)
Chafee vs. Stephen Laffey (RI)

And in 2008
Graham vs. Thomas Ravanel (SC)

I love a good RINO hunt

As do I.

I wonder if they'll accept help to make calls from out of state to members of the grassroots in these states?

I think Mr. Kasich can be reached through his organization the New Century Project.
