Taking care of the U.S troops?
From my Self | 10 June 2005 | Jason Wilson

Posted on 06/07/2005 6:11:21 PM PDT by BrokenSoldier

My name is Jason Wilson, Iam currently enlisted in the United States army, Iam being Honorably Discharge from the US Army, for Mental/Physical medical conditions I gained from the U.S army. I served 13 months in Iraq, after I came back, I began my discharge from the U.S army, and I waved the medical board, because I did not want to wait for the long never ending process of the army trying to figure out if it was there fault cause I was broken, therfore I waved it to get my process out quickly.

Currently I have 3 days left, and just reccently, I found out I had to pay for my own airplane ticket home, since I did not complete 90% of my Term in services, and since I waved my medical board to. Now it looks like im going to be stuck in the streets. I would think serving my country in the time of war and going to war it self would be enough to get at least to get a free ride home on airplane since I arrived here on a airplane. But I guess this isnt good enough for the U.S army.

SPC Wilson.

So, is this the American army or another country's?

Hey fellas! Can anyone spare a buck or two for our abandoned warrior here? I'll start - I pledge $1,000!

I think I can dig up a Beef Patty from the old MREs. Should tide him over until we can send over a hooker for entertainment. Assuming, of course, that our suddenly shy friend (who despite his combat service and debilitating injuries knew enough to post to VetsCoR) responds with his location.

What do you need a plane ticket for if you "came back". If you "came back" then you were right where you started from.

Having processed hundreds of personnel through "Transit and Administration" Support Center, Governors Island, New York - once home of the East Coast sick, lame, lazy, queer and crazy - I can tell you for a fact that this could not happen.

If in fact... this is an actual military member... there is a truck load of information he is not giving us. I had rather think of him as a 'troll'.

Sorry bud, chapter physical is mandatory. Even the guys who get booted for drunk driving get a ticket home.

To all those who might be inclined to believe this sob story...don't. This guy sounds about as sharp as a sack of wet mice.

Someone should keep track of him though, he may have information pertaining to those "Memogate" documents.
