Retired U.S. Rep. Richard A. Gephardt is no longer a candidate -- he's a conglomerate.
Gephardt outlined in an interview today a broad package of business and public-policy initiatives and relationships that now are taking up his time.
Key among them is the creation of a new strategic consulting firm, Gephardt & Associates, that will offer assistance to clients on a variety of issues -- like health care -- where Gephardt made his legislative mark and is deemed somewhat of an expert. One of his first clients is Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. , a firm with long-held ties to Gephardt.

Bud would like to off load their health plan to the Feds.
He's being hired to help them.
Translation: Gephardt is biding his time to wait for a Dem to win the White House so he can be appointed to some Cabinent position.
So I can't buy Budweiser? This will be the easiest boycott in history. (Guess I'll have to stick to Newcastle Brown Ale)
Oh, come on.
Remember that, for all of his flaws and odd stances over the years, Gephardt stood rock solid against the caucus he led in the House and supported the war on terror and the war in Iraq. Even in the campaign he wouldn't go after the troops.
He doesn't make laws anymore, and the last fight he did make, he fought on the right side...which is, of course, why the Democrats dumped him.
Don't boycott the beer of one of the few Dems who actually got it RIGHT!
Sorry, but this pro-military guy isn't going for a boycott of a company who supports the troops as much as they do. There is no company who adheres to every individual's set of standards. Therefore, those that are way beyond the line should be boycotted, and not everyone because an item they support doesn't agree with your standards. As you can see, there is a former Republican in this same mix. Would you have voted for him or boycotted him? You've got to look at the whole picture and not throw away the drawing because a line is out of place.
Like I need an excuse to drink Sam Adams!
yea, Fed health care worked great in Canda:
