I think the woman I handed the book into does not like the conservative books I take out and when I donated that book, she read a little about it and realized how it would undermine the left and ditched it.
Exactly! He showed/perpetuated more fear for the Right than he did these terrorists. In fact, wasn't there another raid shortly after Waco...something to do with the Freeman in Montana? While I don't remember the details of this case, it is interesting to see just who Clinton thought were the threats to this country, while terrorism was running rampant thoughout the 90s.
As Janet Reno was passing out memos, ordering officials not to discriminate or profile Arabs, her boss was doing just that, as Christians, Militia members...and even Rush, became targets of vitriolic rhetoric aimed at perpetuating an image that the "right" was the real terrorists in this country. And as was noted, OKC was an oppurtunity Clinton couldn't pass up as he could tie all these groups together...while ignoring what appears to be a real Mid-East link.

Help me out folks, the disconnect for me is what is the Bush admin getting out of continuing to cover this up. Let's face it, if the evidence were there, wouldn't Bush use it, if for no other reason than to drum up support for the war in Iraq?

I would love to write a sequel to The Third Terrorist, but as a former news director once told me, I only report the meat of a story. Unless there is a major development, and arrests are made, or congressional hearings are convened, I cannot bring myself to publish a story that centers around questions with no solid vindication for the evidence presented in my book
