To: ping jockey

There were sixteen on the chopper, 8 SEALS (5 from ST 10 in Little Creek and 3 from an SDV team at Pearl Harbour) and 8 aircrew. 7 from 3rd Battalion, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, and one from HQ, 160th. None survived.

If the Franklinite was Tre Ponder, I regret to say he is gone. Please accept my condolences. The official US DOD list of the helicopter casualties is here:

Prayers for all the families, friends and the fallen. Also for the unnacounted for missing hero.

I would not want to be on the receiving end of the payback which will soon come.
