CAIRO, Egypt — A group calling itself "The Secret Organization of Al Qaeda in Europe" has posted a claim of responsibility for the series of blasts in London, saying they were in retaliation for Britain's involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The statement was published on a Web site popular with Islamic militants, according to Der Spiegel magazine in Berlin, which republished the text on its own Web site.
"Rejoice, Islamic nation. Rejoice, Arab world. The time has come for vengeance against the Zionist crusader government of Britain in response to the massacres Britain committed in Iraq and Afghanistan," said the statement, which was translated by The Associated Press in Cairo.
The authenticity of the message could not be immediately confirmed.

It appears, from reports, that the blasts were designed to shut down London's mass transit. Additionally, the blasts occurred in their financial district. An economic as well as a murderous attack.
Then people like me will get our way. They won't like that.

If we left Iraq tomorrow we would only face encourage more terrorism.
These people arent going to go away Iraq or no Iraq. Just as the Palestinians arent going to go away after Israel give territory back to them. They will demand more and more. The terrorist movement is growing and with each success they grow more . They have others doing their dirty work for them, Amnesty International harping on Gitmo, Dems in the Congress calling American soldiers Nazi's,Putin giving Iran Nuclear capabilities and missiles for their submarines. These people arent going away and the only way to stop them is to kill them. Arresting them only helps them, it ties down troops and gives them more propaganda value.
Do the same after every "glorious" mujahadeen incident.

This will be more wake up time for all the 'moderates" who want to stay in denial that these terrorists are playing by street rules.
