"London BombRelated Arrests in Pakistan"
LONDON (AP) - July 19, 2005
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Elsewhere, British officials on Tuesday investigated whether one of the London suicide bombers used perfume bottles to make his bomb even deadlier.
Detectives are trying to retrace the four bombing suspects' footsteps, including a report in the Daily Mirror that Jamaican-born Jermaine Lindsay - one of the suspects - reportedly bought hundreds of dollars worth of perfume days before the attacks.
Scotland Yard refused to comment.
The metal perfume bottles could have been transformed into shrapnel in the blast. Investigators are still trying to determine what material was used in the four bombs detonated aboard three subways and a bus in the capital. At least 56 people were killed."

Love those self inflicted gunshot wounds. Keeps our court costs down!
You know what else is curious about that? That was sent on the wires via a PR news release ... it seems like it's their way of letting people know they've got disaster-plans ready for the inevitable. "Don't worry, John Q. Public, we're prepared." I'm not reassured.
Right you are.
Did some digging, here's Yeslam's company website:
I believe I stumbled across a copy of the 'preparation' video here...
Link to 7 MB video (RealVideo) hosted at rapidshare.de
That is some very expensive shrapnel.
Somewhere I've read, probably here, about a significance attached to perfume. Surely there was an intended message (obscure to this point) in using the perfume.
Perfume has several values to the jihadis:
1. Sweet smelling for the self.
2. Highly flammable.
Thanks to Texkat for the ping to this thread, post no. 9.
"Bush vows to fight on in Iraq, rejects pullout date"
Wed Aug 3, 2:21 PM ET
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "GRAPEVINE, Texas (Reuters) - In the wake of the deaths of 14 U.S. Marines in Iraq, President Bush said on Wednesday the best way to honor the dead is to complete the mission and he rejected any early U.S. withdrawal.
"We're at war. We're facing an enemy that is ruthless. If we put out a (pullout) timetable the enemy would adjust their tactics. ... The timetable depends on our ability to train the Iraqis, to get the Iraqis ready to fight and then our troops will come home with the honor they have earned," Bush said in a speech.""

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SAFEHOUSE DESTROYED; 10 SUSPECTS DETAINED
BAGHDAD, Iraq Coalition forces conducted a raid in western Ramadi early Aug. 3 resulting in the capture of 10 suspected terrorists.
Upon arrival at the intended target, a local Iraqi citizen confirmed the building was being used as a terrorist safehouse.
When forces approached the building several suspected terrorists fled throughout the surrounding area. Six suspected terrorists were immediately detained and four were captured after they hid inside a nearby Mosque.
Iraqi citizens assisted the Coalition forces by pointing out the hiding place of the four suspects.
Prior to the raid, a male who lived in the safehouse came outside and told Coalition forces that terrorists were storing explosives inside where his two small children remained.
Coalition forces immediately rescued the children and escorted them away from the building. The children were safely reunited to their family.
The building was then destroyed by attack helicopters. Secondary explosions were seen. Additionally, improvised explosive device materials and weapons were found in the safehouse during the post-strike search.
The 10 suspected terrorists are currently detained for further questioning.

I wonder why the London terrorists wouldn't have used Yeslam's perfume as a symbolic gesture?
Interesting factoid: Yeslam is represented by Benador Associates (aka Mansoor Ijaz)
ROFL. I agree.
That's interesting Velveeta.
As Paul Harvey would say, "and now, for the rest of the story."
Well, that very interesting. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmm!!
"I'm not reassured" either.
Here's an article on the fires:
LOL. I heard Paul Harvey on the radio the other day.
It was strange, only because I had thought he passed away. Ooops.
It does make you go hmmmmm.
Haven't seen Mansoor on TV for quite some time either...
Take with grain of salt, but copied here for posterity.
If Zarathustra could spell, it might lend a bit more credibility.
Yeah, he's kinda kookie.
I've seen him before and just looked back in my notes.
Zarathustra aka Cyclotouriste aka John Gobin Shaw
He's on plenty of watch lists. LOL

Sorry to hear about your friend's grandson. Phoenix is a rough city with lots of gang activity. When we lived there, it was common for cars to be stolen from driveways and then car-b-qued (set on fire).
Series of suspicious finds ground SWFIA flight
FORT MYERS A series of suspicious finds led to the grounding and search of a plane at Southwest Florida International Airport Wednesday afternoon.
Officials say three passengers aboard a jet bound for JFK were questioned by TSA and FBI officials after cash, aircraft diagrams and notes in Arabic were found in luggage connected to them.
Atef Wahba, his wife Alice Wahba and Anthony Donato were all questioned at SWFIA as most of the rest of the passengers boarded the jet and continued on to New York.
A records check yielded a Brooklyn address for the Wahba's. The relationship between the Wahba's and Donato, if any, has not yet been disclosed.
The three have reportedly been released. (snip)
Woman attempts to open plane door in flight
A woman on board a United Airlines flight tried to open the rear door of the airplane while on final approach to Sea-Tac, said airport spokesman Bob Parker.
Flight 1195 en route from Denver was flying at 4,000 feet when the woman got up out of her seat and walked to the back of the plane. A flight attendant told her to sit down, but the woman twisted the handle on the rear door, Parker said.
A warning light illuminated in the cockpit, but the door did not actually open. The woman eventually sat back down, and police arrested her as she exited the plane at Sea-Tac airport.
Police booked the 52-year-old woman into King County Jail for investigation of first degree malicious mischief. She could also face federal charges. Investigators are checking to see if alcohol or prescription medications might have been involved.
Is this article referring to the crashed plane from yesterday in Toronto????
I was just thinking of her as I read some old posts today.
8/6 is also my birthday too, of course I won't say what year. Also, my brother's birthday is 9/11. I was talking with an engineer of a water department last Friday. According to him they, those in the know, are plenty concerned about something big and have been preparing. 8/6 was one of the dates of concern that they were given.
And the petifiles are free. What a suck ass country. Excuse me I must be a lady.
Meant to ping you to #3325
Please let me have one week of a vacation without disaster. I am home all year and this is the one week I am getting the hell out of PA. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy upcoming Birthday to you. :-)
Regarding the engineer of the water department...
yet another disconcerting 'dot'.
Is this in California?
The three have reportedly been released. (snip)
Of course, isn't it typical we have drawings of aircraft in our possession when we board our flights? The indignity of it all....(groaning). Oh well, there's always the next flight.....or the one after that!
Keep reading. LOL
Let me know what you think of post #3325

YESLAM is a profound yet gentle message in a bottle for her, for him, and for all who
long for inner peace, serenity and blessings in the wonderful world of fragrant bliss.<<<
From "the concept" in your link.
They sure hired a person good with words.
But, I thought their bliss came with the explosion?
My thoughts on the perfume purchased in London, is that it
will be used to hide the odor of the anthrax, or cyanide.
You do not run from a broken bottle of perfume, so will get the full dose of bio.
Nor do you spend $2,000. for metal perfume bottles, when the dollar store will have them, and they know how to use nails.
That has to be to hide the 'odors' of chemicals.
As my memory goes, it was several different names of perfume.
What would happen, if I on the subway, accidently dropped my purse and the bottle broke?
Ok, some of us can't take that much perfume and we will leave, but many will simply stand there and smell it.
Sorry that I don't have all my thoughts in one package, but to go on with the cover up thought.
NO-NO is no longer allowed in the house.
When you did not jump to her needs/wants, she would pee in my purse......on money, checks on the way to the bank, I mean fill it up.
For months, the inside of my purse smelled like Avon's Imari
cologne (Oriental fragrance). It covers that strong cat urine very well.
People took my money and thought it was only spilled cologne.
Happy Birthday JP! Drop us a line and let us know how you are doing.
Wow! great map. Mr. RR is to leave for China tomorrow. Still trying to convince him otherwise. Would hate for him to bring "something" home.
Martha Stewart is an "example." The only thing I can think institutionalism has done for her is to force her to communicate with people she would otherwise under no circumstances whatsoever have had contact.
BUT UJaama gots off with probation.
Ujaama is also an "example." Unfortunately the wrong kind! He's the "get out of jail free card" that jihadis know our government issues freely.
You asked my opinion of this article - quoting the Carpenters: "It's only just begun...." Hoping everyone everywhere is checking ID's more scrupulously than required - comparing badges to other identifying paperwork would be good - especially if the other paperwork is state issued (and not something that could be done on a home computer by avowed jihadis). Sharp eyes and attention to detail need to be pounded into the brains of those whose job it is to verify that information. One slip-up could cost human lives and media finger-pointing to create infamy that would not be pleasant for the duration of their employment or life.
Well, I don't blame you for trying to convince him otherwise. I'm sure I would be doing the same. I hope he is back home safe and secure quite soon RR.
Totally awesome map Oorang!

Quick snip... last line.
On the 60th anniversary of the worst terror attacks in history, the useful action that peace-loving people can take is to strengthen that fear and revive it in the minds of the U.S. leaders, and recommit themselves to defeating U.S.s wars of terror" in Afghanistan and Iraq.
I've posted maps of bird migratory patterns on the Avian Flu thread. It's getting to be a long thread, though no where the length of TM :-)
You and I are in the same boat. Mr. Chaos is leaving for China Saturday for a week. I told him he may have to rent a hotel room here in town for a few months before he can come home. :)
THANKS Velveeta for the plane articles.
As to the ItsHappening guy, does he read FR-TM?
