I don't know why Israel doesn't just kill them all and be done with it...which is what we are going to end up having to do with the illegals coming across the boarder or we will be just like Israel dividing up our land. Watch Israel's folks this is our future...

Israel launches fresh air strikes as violence surges

By Nidal al-Mughrabi

GAZA, July 16 (Reuters) - Israel launched fresh missile strikes in Gaza on Saturday, a day after it killed six Hamas militants, and vowed to keep targeting gunmen who fire rockets as a five-month ceasefire moved closer to collapse.

The latest air raid destroyed three workshops, including a metal foundry, in Gaza City and the Khan Younis refugee camp and injured two Palestinian bystanders. The Israeli army said the Islamic group Hamas had used the structures to make munitions. Witnesses denied the workshops produced munitions.

On Friday, an Israeli missile killed a Hamas militant in the West Bank and troops shot dead his comrade after he escaped and fired at them. A second raid killed four gunmen in a car in Gaza, which Hamas officials said carried makeshift rockets.

Israel resumed its targeted killings, a tactic condemned internationally, after a rocket attack killed an Israeli woman on Thursday. Gaza militants have bombarded Jewish settlements and Israeli towns with rockets and mortar bombs in recent weeks.

Dozens were fired on Friday, wounding two Israelis lightly and causing damage to structures.

Israel massed several military vehicles around Gaza late on Friday and news reports quoted security sources as saying the Jewish state might raid militant strongholds in the area in the coming days to try to stop rocket launchers. The army had no comment.

Palestinian Interior Minister Nasser Yousef said the Israeli missile strikes were unjustified and would create more tension, but said the government would try to salvage the truce. He said no faction had the right to end it on its own.

The surge in violence has raised the prospect of disruption to Israel's planned pullout from Gaza, which is set to start in August. The withdrawal has stirred new hopes of reviving Middle East peace efforts.

"There is no chance to reach a peace agreement as long as terror occurs," Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told Israel's Channel 2 television on Friday.

Hamas, sworn to Israel's destruction, has warned that the air strikes would "open the doors of hell" on Israel and said it was reconsidering its commitment to honouring a ceasefire Israeli and Palestinian leaders had declared in February.

Sharon said Israel would launch a "strong and harsh" response against militants.

Israel has said it will act to ensure it's evacuation of all 9,000 Jewish settlers from Gaza does not occur under fire. Palestinian militants want to claim the pullout as a victory.

Biochemist has 'no al-Qaeda link'

British police are searching a house in Leeds linked to Mr al-Nashar
An Egyptian biochemist held for questioning over the London bomb attacks has no links to al-Qaeda, Egypt's interior minister has said.
Habib al-Adli told Egyptian newspaper Al-Jumhuriyah media speculation about Magdi Mahmoud al-Nashar was groundless.

He also denied agents of the British security services had participated in Mr al-Nashar's interrogation in Cairo.

Unofficial sources in Cairo and London say British agents are observing the 33-year-old's ongoing interrogation.

The Egyptians are doing everything possible to cooperate, the sources say.

Mr al-Adli told Al-Jumhuriyah that reports elsewhere in the British and Arab media linking Mr al-Nashar to al-Qaeda were "groundless" and based on a hasty conclusion.

Interior Minister Habib al-Adli has said that 33-year old Egyptian Chemist Dr Magdi al-Nashar, who has been arrested recently by the security forces, has no connection with the terrorist al-Qaeda organisation

Al-Jumhuriyah

Egyptian press jolted by biochemist's arrest

The ministry on Friday released an extract from the interrogation in which Mr al-Nashar denied having any role in the attacks.

He had told investigators he was on holiday, all his belongings remained in the UK and he planned to return there, the ministry said in a statement.

British police are searching a house in Leeds linked to Mr al-Nashar.

They have turned their attention to finding those who may have helped the bombers carry out last Thursday's attacks - in which 55 people died, including three bombers.

They know three of the bombers were from West Yorkshire - Hussain, 18, of Holbeck, Leeds; Shehzad Tanweer, 22, of Beeston, Leeds, and Mohammad Sidique Khan, 30, of Dewsbury - and are searching their homes.

They are also searching the home of the man they believe is the fourth bomber, Lindsey Germaine, a Jamaican-born man who lived in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Meanwhile Britain's top Muslims have branded the London suicide bombings "utterly criminal, totally reprehensible, and absolutely un-Islamic".

A joint statement of condemnation came as 22 leaders and scholars met at the Islamic Cultural Centre, in London.

Muslim leaders said there could never be any excuse for taking an innocent life, it said.

The statement said everyone must confront the problems of Islamophobia, racism, unemployment, economic depravation and social exclusion.

Of the Muslim stance on suicide bombing, the leaders said: "There can never be any excuse for taking an innocent life.

"The Koran clearly declares that killing an innocent person was tantamount to killing all mankind and likewise saving a single life was as if one had saved the life of all mankind.

Those who carried out the bombing, the statement said, "should in no sense be regarded as martyrs".

Both Muslims and non-Muslims should help bring the people behind the bombing to justice, it said.

We are devastated our son may have been brainwashed into carrying out such an atrocity

Mohammad Sidique Khan's

Family says bomber 'brainwashed'

"The pursuit of justice for the victims of last week's attacks is an obligation under the faith of Islam."

But Britain's highest ranking Asian police officer, Tarique Ghaffur, says Muslims and their leaders must do more than just condemn the bombings.

In his only interview on the attacks, Mr Ghaffur, the Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner, urged Muslims and their leaders to inform on potential terrorists and their supporters.

The police would protect informers, using the lessons learned from tackling serious and organised crime, the head of the Met's serious crimes directorate added.

They would have to engage better with minorities - but the minorities would have to take the first step, he said.

An air of radicalism had been building up among a minority of Muslims, Mr Ghaffur added.

In other developments:

Mohammad Sidique Khan's family say they believe the Circle Line bomber could have been "brainwashed" by terrorists.

The family of 18-year-old London bomber Hasib Mir Hussain said they were "devastated" at his involvement.

Forty-one bomb victims have been identified and 31 named.

The government plans new criminal offences of providing or receiving training in the use of hazardous substances; of acts preparatory to terrorism; and of inciting terrorism indirectly, Home Office minister Hazel Blears said.

It emerged bomber Mohammad Sadique Khan, a teacher, met MPs Hilary Benn and Jon Trickett during his school's trip to the Palace of Westminster in July 2004.

a look at your fertilizer google, and I discovered that China is taking over fertilizer plants.

Several of ours are being closed.

Somehow, I am not happy with China in control.

without fertilizer in Arizona, there will be no food produced.

You cannot add manure etc to this area, the wind blows it
away.

Something about it bothers me.

US probes theft of explosive making chemicals

www.chinaview.cn 2005-07-16 02:27:57

LOS ANGELES, July 15 (Xinhuanet) -- US Federal Bureau of Investigation is probing the theft of some 7,500 pounds of chemicals that can be used to make explosives, local media reported Friday.

City News Service, a southern California wire service, said some 7,500 pounds of ammonium nitrate were stolen between Wednesday night and Thursday morning from a business in HuntingtonBeach, a town near Los Angeles.

Terrorism officials were notified because ammonium nitrate, which is used to make fertilizer, can be used to make powerful explosives.

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said the bureau is looking into reports of the break-in at the Huntington Beach business. She saidit was unclear if the ammonium nitrate said to have been stolen was the type that can be used for explosives.

The FBI is also investigating two suspected California robbers for possible connection to terrorism, City News Service said.

Law enforcement officials reportedly found at the residence of the robbery suspects a target list that include two synagogues, the Israeli Consulate in Los Angeles and at least 17 military installations in the Los Angeles area. Enditem

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS INVESTIGATION:

On Friday, July 15, 2005 at 2:29 PM PDT, eight Companies of Los Angeles Firefighters, four Los Angeles Fire Department Rescue Ambulances, one LAFD Hazardous Materials Task Force, one EMS District Captain and two Chief Officer Command Teams under the direction of Assistant Chief Michael Fulmis responded to a Hazardous Materials Investigation at 1254 North Gower Street in Hollywood. Los Angeles Police Officers requested allied agencies for assistance in securing and identifying several unknown products from a second floor apartment. Purely as a precaution, occupants of the eight-unit garden style apartment building, as well as residents of several adjacent single-family homes were asked to promptly vacate their premises. These 75 persons remained calmly nearby in the neighborhood as Joint Command was established between Law Enforcement and Fire officials. Firefighter Hazardous Materials experts and their Police Department counterparts then donned protective gear to enter the apartment, where they collected a small quantity of unknown products. Following an on-site analysis, the items were deemed fit for routine transport from the scene by Law Enforcement officials. There were no injuries, and all neighborhood residents were allowed to return to their homes. The County of Los Angeles Health HazMat Division and Federal Bureau of Investigation will handle this matter to conclusion.
