Thanks for not letting us forget ...
Too bad for all of us that the terrorists were plotting and planning while the 'Great White Hope Bill Clinton' was chasing Monica around the desk in the Oval Office.
close....
You too are right on in #15 in your succinct anatomy
of just one small aspect of the ongoing doublespeak/spin
of the never=ever-gonna-go-away Clinton Administration.
Psychoanalytically, this phenom is called "projection", as first described by Freud. The Dems unabashedly use it, and the Republicans have apparently yet to even discover it, since they never seem to respond to any of this classic Dem rhetoric with any force or conviction. My God,come to think of it, the greatest literary genius of the 20th C., George Orwell, would be in fine fettle today, having a permanent field day with our current crisis, assuming that 8 years of Clinton-watching wouldn't have killed him anyway.
I've been looking for those quotes, thanks now I have them forever.
I'm sorry you're dense also.
Innocent men, women and children died under the hayseed's watch.
"....the dead night crew at the aspirin factory".
----Puts me in mind of an informal "contest" some FReeper called for in this forum, when he called for us to submit
headlines that might appear in DC papers in coverage of the first big FReeper anti-CLinton protest on the DC Mall
(the one Ann Coulter spoke at) some years ago. Mine was the one he liked best:
CLINTON ORDERS BOMBING OF FREEPERS
ON MALL: says he thought they
were an aspirin factory.
Okay, how about this bumper sticker then, people died while B.J. got a B.J.
War is terrible business. When one enters into a war, the consequences are far reaching. I believe that in modern warfare, there are no innocent civilians. All the chips are on the table. Those chips include woman, children, the elderly. You don't want your children killed by bombs from the sky... don't make war. If you start a war, don't whine when these terrible things happen. I, for one, do not wail and gnash my teeth when noncombatants are killed. It is a consequence of war. Nothing more, and nothing less.
Very clever headline you wrote, I like it too.
Got any photos of Vince Foster, Ron Brown, the children of Waco, or umpteen other weird fatalities along the Arkancide safari trail? How about civilians in the countries Clinton bombed or invaded to distract attention away from Monica, etc.? That image of Clinton laughing as he was leaving Ron Brown's funeral on route to get fellated by Monica was sure a riot, wasn't it?
You mean like when Bubba was in office?
I like that idea!!!!!1111
And follow the war credo of killing thine enemy!
