CBS Muzzles Ad on Radical-Islamist Threats

CBS has rejected an advertisement about radical-Islam's threat to peace on the grounds that the subject is "too controversial" and "too emotional."

Executives at CBS refused to run an advertisement on WTIC-AM in Hartford, Conn., for an upcoming symposium called “The Radical-Islamist Threat to World Peace and National Security” sponsored by The People’s Truth Forum.

The ad was scheduled to begin airing today, July 18, on WTIC-AM, but last week controversy began brewing.

The ad by the non-partisan fact-based organization aims to educate Americans on controversial topics of national security, says Jeffrey Epstein, president of People’s Truth Forum.

According to Epstein, he received notice from the local WTIC-AM station that the corporate office felt the message was "issue" related and that the agreement was being kicked up to CBS's legal department for a final decision.

Ooooooh, now we can't go and offend the Muslims who, after all, practice a religion of peace (and if you believe that, I have some oceanfront property near Omaha that is for sale).

I wonder if CBS would consider an announcement that 2000 armed terrorist killers from the Middle East are reported to have been smuggled into the U.S. somewhere along the coast between Washington and Mexico in the last 24 hours to be ...

"too controversial" and "too emotional." ?

That is a dead-serious question!

Sure. Keep all information away from the Americans. Keep us as sheeple. Makes it much easier to lead us to slaughter this way.

IMHO.

Radical Islamists are too controversial and difficult to deal with.

The the "radical Christian right" is no problem to the hate America first crowd at CBS.

SeeBS won't be around after NYC, DC or Boston becomes uninhabitable for 100 years.

Rope will become very scarce also... due to the amount of lynchings that will decimate the ranks of the MSM-DNC.

Replacement ad was on the noncontroversial gay marriage and animists unite to fight the terrible influence of religious wackos issue.

Of course they don't feel it is too emotional or controversial to run a hitpiece on Barrett's .50BMG rifle featuring an unrepentant felon that openly admits to breaking the Arms Control Export Act, Gun Control Act of 1968, and perjury on the form 4473.

Screw SeeBS

The reason they have refused this ad is that their inherent cowardice as a liberal based organization has surpassed their reason to exist, and that is to increase profits.

By cowardice I mean they are physically afraid of retribution from the nut jobs who wear their underwear on their heads.

No, since I made up the report.
But I don't think it would matter if it were real. These traitors would withhold any useful information if eventually it makes the administration look bad.

No matter how many American lives are on the line.

Ironically enough, CBS was the only station of the main three that would run an anti-Durbin ad. One that exposed him for his hateful statements about the US Military.

According to Move America Forward, two television stations have buckled under the pressure, including the ABC and NBC affiliates in Chicago. Both stations are refusing to run Move America Forward's ad, it says, although CBS's Chicago affiliate is running it.

Also from the article:

Durbin's office is trying to silence Move America Forward, the group says, by hinting to an Illinois newspaper (the Northwest Herald of Crystal Lake) that the Internal Revenue Service should audit Move America Forward.
