That wasn't normal cops. That was classic SAS doctrine.

They mandhandled him into a position where he could be shot without hurting civilians and gave him five rounds rapid in the face. That isn't normal cops, but it looks like the SAS.

Once a shipmate and I took a train into London while on liberty in Portsmouth. That night we got off at a closed Underground station by mistake and found ourselves locked inside. Checking the schedule, we found that the next train wouldn't be along for several hours so we ended up walking the tube to another station.

Pretty dumb in retrospect, but we were all of 20ish at the time-- 20 and dumb go hand in hand.

Also this was 14-15 years ago. The terrorists in London back then were the IRA.

No, it's sounding like they mean business. PC is in the dumpster; now they're doing what needs to be done.

I agree. Today's summary example may well make the terrorists think twice.
