Yes these guns are fascinating and fun to play with and I have nothing against them, but you really have to be able to buckle down with something you can control and use comfortably for the long haul.
Heck, I have two 444 Marlin barrels for my TC and they are great to play with but tend to get fatiguing at an extended range session. Even with a brake.
One of my favorite TC barrels is an 8" chop job I have with iron sights in 44 Mag. Really fun at the range and a great woods gun for Whitetails. Excellent test bed for handloads as all the TC's are.
