San Francisco's Politburo is trying to make this beautiful City completely irrelevant.

Does mean San Francisco is now vulnerable to an attack from the rear

Fine....so we can just ignore them if we're ever invaded, right?
They can fend for themselves.

And even loonier is that they consider themselves "mainstream". I would give a few different water based metaphors like off the deep end, going down for the third time, and gone over the falls.

Simple. Just have the U.S. Military agree that SF is a "Military Free Zone".
Hope they all like Kimchi and love Allah.

A modern day Sodem and Gamora, cut em off, Put a border around em and let em rot in hell. Of course then we would have another border issue with people trying to get out.

Or if they have a destructive riot sometime in the future? They wont have the National Guard or Regulars to help restore order.

You wonder what men like Rear Adm. Callaghan who died on the USS San Francisco would be thinking right now.

This new slogan will fit well with their "Sanity Free" slogan.

I kind of like the sound of the "City of San Francisco proving grounds."

And of course the USS Iowa has to go to Stockton as the loonies in SanFran don't want such a militaristic piece of hardware in their bay. Can't we remove this city from the United States of America?

Why don't we just invite that ugly pygmy Kim Jong Il to take over and sodomize San Francisco?

San Francisco hosts an annual Fleet Week with visits by many navy ships and the Flying Angels. To the best of my recollection that was and is a pretty large and well run event bringing in millions for the local economy.
