Pat lost it long ago. He left the Republican party and it was a very good thing for republicans.
He was in bed with the commies during his reform party run and apparently he still is.

Some courageous Republican, to get the attention of this White House, should drop into the hopper a bill of impeachment, charging Bush with a conscious refusal to uphold his oath and defend the states of the Union against "invasion."Sounds good to me.

I will never vote for another democrat as long as I live. Never. I promise you they will do nothing about the border either as they view the illegals as potential (sure thing) votes. Hillary is pretending to be concerned, because she knows we are. I agree (again) that no one should be allowed in here anymore.

Voting for Bush hasn't been much better than voting for a democrat.

Lou Dobbs had a representative from Virginia on who suggested Va. might be next to declare a state of emergency. He was ridiculed by some Latino guest who questioned why Virginia since it was nowhere near the border. The rep. reminded him that illegals are able to walk and once they cross the border they're able to go wherever the road leads them and many are heading East.

"In other words, Profits over security, Business over Pissed off American citizenry."
It's not just profits. Illegals are being used to mask the devaulation of the dollar by free spending/borrowing/printing politicians. Stopping illegals means exposing the true value of the dollar on their watch which would slow down their gravy train. Both parties are guilty.

also, at the time, the alternative was Gore. It wasn't a hard choice for me, despite all that is said above.
In retrospect, the cliche "lesser of two evils" comes to mind, unfortunately.
You know what bothers me the most? Actually, there are two things.
One - Bin Laden had declared war against us, years ago, starting with the first WTC attack. It's easy to say "well, Clinton was in power, the Republicans weren't, so none of the Republicans that came into office, either elected or appointed, really had any idea that we were at war starting back around '93".
The problem with that belief, is that everybody that paid attention to national security matters saw these attacks against America - USS Cole, Embassy bombings, etc., - it was right there in the newspaper. We had Republican Senators and Representatives that were briefed about these attacks. We had people in the military and in the civilian agencies that knew about these attacks.
I'm not blaming President Bush here, far from it, but I still wonder why going after Bin Laden didn't become a top priority when President Bush was sworn in. He was surrounded by people who were well aware that there were people in the world that wanted to kill Americans, and had done so within the past decade. They may not have known when or where, but they were aware that Bin Laden and others wanted to kill large numbers of Americans.
This ties directly into the other thing that bothers me - it will take another 9/11 before this country realizes the danger our southern border poses.
If, God forbid, another 9/11 happens, your going to see Republicans leaving the GOP in large numbers, saying "What the hell? While you were wasting time and resources strip-searching grannies at the airport, people were walking across our borders unchallenged."
At that point, it will be too late for this country - the democrats will be swept right into office, on the "I told you so" ticket (You gotta give the dems on the border credit for declaring an emergency - if another attack happened, they have positioned themselves for the next election).
You have another attack in this country, and you get democrats in office, your going to see things that make the PATRIOT Act look like a fond memory.
And before anybody says "well, we wouldn't elect another democrat" - your going to see numbers of Republicans leaving the GOP (and for good reason), and your going to see large numbers of people scared whitless, who don't normally vote, who are going to vote.

Do you know who he was meeting with at the time he called the Minutemen vigilantes? He was definitely being the politician with other countries' presidents, as he was busy undoing our sovereignty.
I'm very well aware of who he was with - that is why I believe he doesn't get enough credit for being an astute politician.

OK, who stole Pat's meds? Please send them back, and quickly. Maybe the same person who stole Bush's cojones?
If a Republican doesn't "throw a bill of impeachment into the hopper," I hope a Democrat does.

I hate to say it folks, but Buchanan is right on the money. Just because Reagan, Bush I and then Clinton did nothing about is is no reason to give GW a pass on it. We are dealing with the here and now. It is happening on HIS watch as we speak so it is his responsibility to stop this illegal invasion. Unless we hold our elected officials accountable, they will continue to pander to radical groups like La Raza (the race). I have been thinking about creating a website called www.illegalaliencrimes.com to compile facts about how Americans are victimized by people who have no dam business being in this country but it would be a full time job compiling and keeping up with all of the data. I truly beleive that if Americans were aware of how bad we are being victimized by illegals and exactly how much money it was costing each US taxpayer, then they would demand that troops be stationed on our borders.
To: theDentist
Exactly.
Pat, of course, is right. We need to stop the illegal immigration. And the American people agree. 85% of the country is in favor of stopping ILLEGAL immigration.
Funny how many "open borders" types are on FR. When did it become conservative to support foriegn invasion and contempt for the rule of law?
