It is not surprising that Ms. Sheehan cut and run.
What is surprising is that NPR is pushing her a little bit. I'd say that is a good sign for our side.

"My bet is that Cindy is not a very long-time resident of Vacaville, though I really don't know."
I believe there is a freeper who lives in Vacaville. She said Cindy is new to the area. She was originally from L.A.
If I remember correctly, the freeper also said that Casey talked others in the area into joining the military.

lol Accepted, her feeling weren't hurt too bad.

I did not realize this horrific heinous hippie had three other children. Why aren't they by her side? Are they really young? In school? I know her husband dispises what she is doing to the work of their son, but what about her other children?
I understand her other son wrote her a letter and asked her to come home because they needed her and she blew him off. I guess her new liberal friends are more fun and important to her than her other children. I fear she is going to wind up growing old alone.

If they supported her position she would be flaunting them...so guess what I surmise?
Right! They don't support her position.

NC: Why did he decide to join the Army? CS: Well, he got lied to by his recruiter. His recruiter made him five promises that he broke all the promises to Casey. Casey was a very trusting and trustworthy person. So, he felt everyone else was trustworthy. Especially somebody who represents the governmentSo, why did he re-enlist? And volunteer for Iraq duty? And volunteer to go on a dangerous patrol?

She'll probably be in a rubber room wearing one of those nice jackets with the wraparound sleeves.

"On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my Country, and to obey the Scout Law. To help other people at all times; to keep my self physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight."There is so much in there that the Left has problems with.

Yes, he was a soldier. And by all accounts, despite his mother's action, he acquitted himself well. That's the saddest part of all of this. Despite her hatred for Bush and the war, she could at least give him the honor he deserves. I have YET to hear her speak well of her son AS A SOLDIER....yet, that is what he re-enlisted to be.
To: alarm rider
I am fed up with this woman, squared. She needs to be in jail or in a home, ASAP.
Me, too! I noticed in spite of all the tradgedy going on due to Katrina, the MSM still managed to get in some shots and a clip of the Ditch Witch today. And FoxNews was running stories about her on their news ticker at the bottom of the screen. No mention of the huge support the troops rally in Crawford last Sat. though.

I suppose the contract her son signed wasn't read by her son or her?
I find that hard to believe.

NPR should understand. The Left has created a STAR! (Monster). Cindy is above all criticism. She has St. Theresa status now.

Ah, just as I suspected! That Cindy is sure a piece of work. I listened to the interview after I read the transcript. Wow. She really is a shame to her son, God rest him.
