I think the feds are going to do something fast to end the lawlessness in New Orleans. Shooting LE and rescuers just ain't gonna fly. Thusands are still trapped on roof tops and in buildings, criminals halting relief operations must be dealt with and fast, night fall is comming. I would be surprised if the military didn't sent in an advance force to give the criminals something to think about.
I don't know if I'd want the thugs to know about this, since they probably have an advantage in knowing the terrain better. But the news is cheering to me.
If the government wants to use troops in our cities they should be forthcoming about it. If martial law has been declared then there's no problem. This hush-hush, loose-lips-sink-ships mentality isn't cutting it. This isn't WWII. Nothing personal against you drirtboy.

The word is that in Jefferson Parish and Orleans, FEMA has "bugged out." They haven't brought supplies in.

There were reports on the Lars Larson Show that large numbers of NO police have deserted ..... that a police station has been taken over ..... that the police are also looting ..... as FDR said .... no country is more then three meals away from a revolution .....
What's the old joke about New Orleans? It's the only city in America where you can start a crime wave by putting more police on the streets.
