problem is New Orleans was already predisposed to this.
With a sky high drooge style crime rate why is anyone surprised?
Rural Mississippi is ravaged south of the line from Vicksburg to Meridian and yet we only hear about some looting in Hattiesburg and the Coast from the usual thuggies.
It's the culture baby.

I haven't seen a single FEMA guy,'' he said. He added: ``We can send massive amounts of aid to tsunami victims, but we can't bail out the city of New Orleans.'' What an f'in idiot. This clown should be held civilly and/or criminally responsible for his (in)action. Guess he didn't realize this might be more than a patronage job, eh?
