The Fox News poll has Bush's job approval rating falling to 45 percent positive and 50% negative as of today.

With the bullshit coming from the left AND the congenitally disgruntled right, he's probably lucky to still have 45. The global leftoid slime machine works 24/7 tearing him a new one no matter what he does or doesn't do, and the people who anoint themseves with Pat Buchanan's spittle fill in any spot the journalistic soviet misses.

I wouldn't blame GWB if he told us all to take a flying f and see how much better we can do without him. Gotta be the most thankless job on the planet if you take it seriously and don't rely on the apparatchiks do the lifting while you let interns massage the old crank.

No I'm not an idiot I'm actually right.....the levees didn't recieve the funding they needed from the federal government, they broke,. If the federal government hadn't cut the funding in half over the last 4 years

Why not go back 5, 6, 10 years? Why only 4? They've been complaining about those levies for decades, but always spent the money on something else. I'd say that's Louisiana's fault. Who's been in charge there all this time? Why didn't they fix those levies when they first started showing wear? People can only cry wolf for so many decades before people stop listening, you know.

I totally agree with you. Of course the lamestream media will try to use this disaster as a club against President Bush, conveniently forgetting the centuries of corruption, mismanagement, and malfeasance in New Orleans, and indeed in all of Louisiana, that led to the present horror.

"Why are they all coming to TX?"

Simple. They know that a TEXAN's heart is almost always bigger than their brain. Until you show a TEXAN that you perceive that as a sign of weakness........then watch out! Yer arse will be grass and the TEXAN will be pushing the lawnmower. Count on it.

I think there's a necessity for Freeper's to have a Bush's Fault Alert!...

Stuff like this has been posted many times in FR...

There's a need for medical scientists to create a medicine against "Bush's Fault Syndrome"

Well said, as was theamericanthinker.com today on Rush's program. Decades of corruption, patronage-supporting Democratic machine politics has led to a city that is 25% below the proverty-level and 67% minority where all they can do is use their welfare (or "walking-around") money to turn out the vote for the Democrats in each election.

And where has this bought-and-paid-for mentality led? To a population that can't evacuate when necessary from lack of brains or resources and, once entrenched in pre-civilized situations, to a crisis of "Biblical", sub-human dimensions.

The Democrats have now had an opportunity to reap what they have sown. Rapes in the "Superdome", human waste and carcasses floating in the streets, looting, gangs bearing stolen weapons, death, despair, and civil disruption.

Thank you, Democrats. The citizens of Louisiana will have a clear answer when asked in the next election if they were better off four--or for that matter, forty, years ago.

New Orleans has huge public housing projects like a city within a city. A lot of these people are from these areas and surrounding neighborhoods. They were too poor to leave with no where to go.

You know, I wouldn't blame W if he walked up to Cheney, handed him the keys and said "You take it, I'm going back to Texas".

And he managed to get banned the day before he signed up! Brilliant!!

Plus, he's an idiot. The Corps of Engineers has already stated that funding levels had nothing to do with the flooding.

While I totally agree the dems are at fault in these matters, the problem is the lie is being fed to the world that this is the fault of Bush. They are just feeding the hatred more. I find myself losing all perspective about the disaster due to my anger at the media and the democrat leaders. I don't want that to happen.

Democrats will win every election there again. With 99% of the black vote as usual.

Democrats hate Bush more than they love their country. Party before country, that's their game.

Good report! Too bad it will never get to the brainwashed electorate that buys in to the "blame Bush" MSM mantra.

Many urban victims have been on the government teat so long they can't even help save themselves and only know hate and violence when the teat is dry.

Even though modern day Presidents never fully go on "vacation' he will get stuck with that concept of fiddling while Rome burned.
