Newsreaders on FoxNews just said a 'Senior administration spokesman' has said Bush plans to nominate Roberts for Chief Justice position.

I've not been impressed with what I've seen of Roberts so far, but we'll see I suppose...Scalia would have been a better choice... Whew, at least it saves another tirade and the personal degradation that these court battles have engendered.
Bet Scalia is breathing a sigh of relief, can you imagine what the Dems would do with that confirmation hearing??

They need to get rid of Julian. Yesterday he seemed to agree with that there might be race issues involved in NO based on the way it was handled. He is probably the most liberal of all of the Friends gang in my opinion.
