Ah celebrities. What would we do without them. I am but a worm compared to the entertainment exalted To quote Homer Simpson, 'Celebrities, is there anything they don't know.'

Oprah, do you enable and make excuses for the monsters who prey on the helpless innocents? If these people were Muslims looting and raping what would we think of their Muslim leaders who demanded an apology from our government? Why do I hear no American leaders who are outraged by what has gone on in New Orleans?

Leftist will get no traction from this tragedy. The suffering in NO resulted from:
1. Failure at the individual level
2. Failure at the city management level
3. Failure at the state management level
To: Millee
This is exactly the kind of statement we should expect from a mind conditioned by the socialist "the government will take care of you" mentality. I wonder how many of her many millions of dollars Oprah donated to relief efforts.

Oprah is an idiot. The women who sit in her audience and clap at the most asinine things are an embarrassment.

That's right, because other city's leaders would have gotten the job done! Not sat around in a state of confusion and then start blaming other for their ineptitude when the truth came to light. Blanco and Nagin took measures that affirmatively BLOCKED the ingress of federal assistance, then complained about not getting the assistance that they themselves blocked.

Compass told of children being sexually assaulted in the Superdome and how gang members threatened to take him hostage as he toured the facility. New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin actually cut short his interview with Winfrey, so overcome with emotion and anger because, he said, other cities would have received a swifter response from the federal government. Shameful. Absolutely shameful. Those two people just mentioned were DIRECTLY responsible for the safety of those people mentioned. But instead, we get Bush hatred.

I'm sorry the Mayor and Governor abandoned their own evacuation plan. Did the Zulu talk show host mention that? I bet she was down their to cover the Gay Mardi Gras and the disaster got in the way.
To: Millee
Ok. Apology. Here goes:
Dear Oprah: I apologize for George W. Bush. It was his fault. It was my fault. It was "The Man's" fault. It was the KKK's fault. It was Ohio's fault. It was Karl Roves' fault. It was FEMA's fault. It was satan's fault. It was because of slavery. It was the joooos. It was the alignment of the planets ...

I think Oprah is doing more harm then good. SNAFU - Situation Normal - All Fried Up.

The nation most certainly doesn't need to apologize to NO. The blame lies with the Governor and Mayor of NO who were clueless and incompetent in the face of certain tragedy if action wasn't taken. Let me remind Okra that these people were elected by the folks of LA and the city of NO to protect them from things such as natural disasters. The blame ultimately lies with the voters who voted for the two morons in the first place.
