I could tell you about the breakdowns I've had with other makes and never with Fords.
I'm not into bashing, other makes, that's why we have so many choices, I love choice and I choose to drive Ford products.
I do enjoy making fun of and lauging at liberal moonbats as they continually shoot themselves in the foot and other more tender body parts.

Mine sure is. I have to many blessings to count. So I just thank the Lord for everything.
The question should naturally arise as to how brake fluid is allowed to leak onto the wiring harness; many fast lube joints top off master cylinders when replenshing fluids while a competent mechanic never advises doing so unless the fluid level warning light is on, and, even then, such a condition warrants a fluid system integrity test.

It doesn't get in from the outside, it gets into the switch from the master cylinder. The switch in question is a hydraulic pressure switch. The seals go, brake fluid gets into the electrical part...
Unless there were a number of faulty master brake cylinders I wouldn't lay the blame on Ford any more than whoever spilled brake fluid on the harness.
The real problem is that Ford shouldn't have had an unprotected live circuit in a potentially corrosive path.
Most of them are just curious but alas some of them have a quota....

It should be in the recall, it's a souped up F-150.

Actually it's a little more than "souped up" it has several engine changes, suspension changes, tire changes, running gear changes and cosmetic changes.
Put a fresh six in the CD changer and let's Rock 'n Roll. ;)

Ours is red. Every time I take it to the store there's someone walking around looking at it. Then they see this little silver haired lady getting into it they are even more surprised. Most say "This is your truck?" I answer "NO, it's my 75 year old husbands truck and he knows how to use it!"
My husband has always been a car nut and so have I. We also have an 82 Excalibur (red also) that we take on our weekend jaunts. Some people think we're spoiled, what they don't know is we worked hard for everything we have.
