I held my breath eleven months to post this rubbish, and all I got was this lousy zot. (Arianna SUV)

Oh, yes. Before I said one word about our friend, DavidO, he called me neocon scum on the blogs.
It is time to cite (see, David, the correct word) an old friend of mine. TO DAVID: When you are born dumb, you stay that way a long time.

Kurt Vonnegut - Slaughterhouse 5
It always amazed me that Vonnegut could write things that portray the right as the evil that does those sorts of things but he himself is one of those leftists who supports them himself.
However he is mentally ill in a literal sense.

Algore gave an inspiring speech at the Sierra Club Summit. He told anecdotes about growing up on a farm at St. Albans in Washington, D.C., and he offered hay rides in his CADILLAC ESCALADE.

His account was zotted. I wish they would allow him back in. Oh, I see. Yes, it would be fun to watch him try to communicate. Letting one in wouldn't mean Jim would have to let them all in, would it?

In case the question arises, I did not sign up under a new name and create this thread. Actually, that would have been pretty funny. I don't know, however, that I could have created a character so utterly stupid that it would have been believable.

So Al Gore drove his Escalade from his home in Tennessee to San Fransisco to attend a Sierra Club event and you don`t have a problem with that?
Why would he need to drive his big SUV when he was simply on the highway, and driving in the city? I don`t think our street/highway system is too bad yet to require this kind of vehicle. Maybe in Africa, but not here in the U.S..
Your argument defending Mr. Gore is pretty lame, IMO. Republicans and Conservatives also care about the enviroment. But we call them the way we see them, unlike you, who simply are blind to reality when it comes to one of your own.
But I would bet he rented the vehicle, which would make it even more unreasonable for him to have an SUV. Same goes with Ms. Huffington.
Open your eyes and let the light in.

Doug From Upland's siting Arianna Huggington and Al Gore exiting large vehicles at a conference on the environment in San Francisco has set the blogs afire. But there are legitimate uses for large vehicles. Really there are. The I just don't think one person driving the LA freeways in one because the want to win a collision contest at the expense of the unfortunate person they might collide with isn't one.You should stick to your native tongue.

Yep, it is a much better use of space with 2 people in that SUV(Arianna and her driver) than one person. I have never seen a 2 passenger SUV before. Thank you for poinitng that out. Now I might get me one of those. HERE KITTY KITTY!!! ZOT!!!

David, I know you will be confused, so I have to make an admission. I didn't go in a Hamburglar disguise. That was just a joke. I went in a long-sleeved shirt and Docker slacks --- no disguise. Sandy Berger actually went in that disguise, and I saw him stuffing IMPEACH BUSH t-shirts, tree bark, and Sierra Club organic wine down his pants.
