Completely unbelievable. How can one person accumulate so much ignorance.

That's the problem.  Donahue isn't ignorant.

He's convinced.  Scratch him, and you'll find a pacifist.

Problem for us is he's mockingly, viciously, articulate.  He reminds me of the teasing, taunting, hurtful little brats on the elementary school playground who delighted in picking at the other kids.  They got away with it because the other kids were not so mean or nasty or they wanted to be on his team to minimize the verbal assaults.  Always regretted not punching out those guys.

The mouthy smart-alecks grow up to be Phil Donahues.

Because Celine (like Shania) married the b'zillionaire bigwigs in the music industry.

Sort alike 'My husband owns the theater'.

I still maintain his problem is ignorance. In his insular world of liberal elitism he is ignorant of the real world. His elite world is one where you can wave your hand and give lip service to patriotism. He is standing on an ivory tower and looking down at the rest of us. The problem with that is that we all look very small to him but on the other hand he looks very small to us.

Good point that her music sounds like a commercial jingle (LOL)...I have never liked her....when she was pregnant she acted like she was the only women to ever conceive and give birth

Sadly I must admit...outta phil's mouth and into my dad's and his brother's ears.

But..there's a bright side. Mom's family would be calling a nutcase...a nutcase.

"How can one person accumulate so much ignorance."

The funny thing is i used to think like him when I was like 24 or 25. I'm 30 now and I've been a conservative since...well since I bought a house, got a decent job, and started a family with my wife. Or another words...when I grew up.lol

Mr. Donahue's pMSNBC show was unwatchable for me and the other 280 million Americans, but last nights appearance on O'Reilly was worth watching. His insane hate-America rant was an excellent example of hardcore lefwing socialism.

I'll never forget PD's interview with Roger Ailes on one of the old cable channels. RA asked him point blank which is better, democracy or communism. PD, without hesitation, responded communism. Unbelievable that anyone in America would have that belief system.

We need Joe McCarthy again to flush out these commies in every sector of our society!

Incredibly, there was a time when Phil Donahue had his own daily TV talk show and it was considered normal and "mainstream".

When you look at it that way, we did come a long way.

Your welcome...I saw it last night and had a mixture of emotions while watching it...anger,laughter, and confusion. So I just had to post it.

After all, if you can only gather 100 people in NYC - you have no message.

Must be everyone who watched Donohue's last show.

I learned long ago that NOTHING will wake these fools up. So the next best thing is to marginalize them as often as you can. Actually the Cindy Sheehans and the Phils and the Howard Deans are the conservatives 'best friends'. Keep putting a mike in front of them and they'll marginalize themselves...lol

Yeah, me too. I went to bed early and missed O'Reilly and big mouth Donahue woke me up at 4:49 a.m. with his ranting. It made me mad all over at that ungodly hour. I had fallen asleep with the TV on due to recovering from operation. I was fit to be tied and almost got up to check in here so I could rant. The damage that man did to America for years is still being felt. He was responsible for much of the Vietnam protests. Somebody should have shut him up back then. Now we can only hope that the O'Reillys of the media will stop letting him out in public. He should be locked up.

Me too. Turned it off when he came on. I knew exactly what to expect. I really don't know who's worse, Donahue or Ed Asner. Both out of their minds full of hate. I wonder just what they think are soldiers are supposed to do for this country. Build roads and plant things?? They sign up to PROTECT THIS COUNTRY AND FIGHT THE BAD GUYS! And yes it is dangerous work.
I thank God for them!!

I still maintain his problem is ignorance.

For you and I, attributing his words and deeds to ignorance probably works quite well to trivialize him . . . here.

It works less well to dissuade those innocently vulnerable or eagerly receptive to his bullying, mocking sophistry.
