As long as your dog is under your control then you won't have to worry about it.

Everyone carries more than one bullet for situations like this. I imagine this guy did too.

Better just a dead dog than a dead dog AND dog owner.

I understand, and I love my dog.... BUT NO DOG SHOULD BE AT LARGE roaming the neighborhood. It's all of our responsibility to fence our dogs.
