Live from the White House at 3:00 P.M. EDT!
Reading the thread headline just brought a smile to my face!!!!
gee, thanks, Howlin ... seeing the headline brought a HUGE smile to my face .. then your post drew a few tears. But this IS a great for the US Constitution, and I'm sure Rehnquist is smiling down on all of us, especially his successor. This is just further proof of the widsom of our Founders and our system of government ... peaceful transition of power at all levels and branches of government (Biden, et al. notwithstanding)
"...no shortage of hypocrisy in Washington.."
in fairness, the challenge to "UnderGod" came out of California and was supported by a Carter appointed federal judge on the 9th Circuit ... it hasn't gotten back up to "Washington" yet ... it's still California's baby.
Sorry kempster, we have two pot holes across town, he has to have priorities!
What a great day. It is wonderful to say the words Chief Justice Roberts, after he withstood grilling by the most unethical, loathsome and immoral leaders in this country, Kennedy for example.
Let us hope God continues to grant wisdom and clarity to President Bush and Chief Justice Roberts.
I am glad that Roberts was approved and sworn in as Chief Justice. I have high hopes for him. It will be interesting to settle back now, and watch his decisions come down.
I love the way Jack points and laughs at Harry Reid crying in the left wing of the room.
Imagine what 2 appointments Kerry would have made...
Bush should nominate Roberts wife. How cool would that be? A husband and wife on the court. Pro-lifers at that.
The oaths for everyone except the President are pretty much the same.
Thanks for the heads up on that!
Super!! We are on our way.. a very unique time and opportunity for our President to put America back on track..and he is doing it!!
LOL, just checked the voting record, and anyone that knows who the key rats are, could have made a killing if they had bet on which Senator's would vote nay. The rats are totaly predictable AND a blight on America. Thank God they are also LOSERS!!
If this is too small, what's the html to make it bigger...? Thanks.
I think I might have heard little Jack during the CJ speech. That child cracks me up! What a spirit he has!
Ah...some good news. Thanks for the "ping".
I'm wondering if Rhenquist didn't have some input on this.
Maybe this has already been discussed and I missed it,
but that seems reasonable.
"Yet, there are some here who worry that Roberts might be another Souter."
This Rat nay voting list reads like the who's who of anti-American Socialist Liberal pond scum. If anyone has doubts about Roberts then this list of key Rat nay sayers should put you at ease.
