FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICE EMIR CAPTURED
BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Multi-National forces killed two foreign fighters and captured two others during a raid in Karabilah Sept. 6.
Multi-National forces acted on intelligence tips from multiple sources that foreign fighters were operating in Karabilah at a specific location. During the raid, the forces killed two foreign fighters and captured Fahed Mohammad Saleh Aba al-Khail (aka Abu Faris), and Hassan Salim Salah Abdallah Al-Shaari (aka Abu Habib al-Libi). Both are now in custody of Coalition forces.
Abu Faris is an admitted foreign fighter who entered Iraq illegally from Saudi Arabia with the intent to fight Coalition forces. He departed Saudi Arabia with a forged passport and crossed into Iraq with the assistance of a smuggler. The foreign fighters with whom he associated trained him on the use of various weapons and pressured him to become a suicide bomber.
Abu Habib al-Libi also admitted to being a foreign fighter. Al-Libi claims to be the Improvised Explosive Device Emir of Karabilah, responsible for conducting numerous bombings against Coalition and Iraqi forces. He came to Iraq from Libya, crossing the border through Syria.

So when do we capture Dirka Dirka-Dirka?
That article would have been half the length if it hadn't mentioned their names.
Thanks, many "al-Libi" i.e. from Libya, are still around. Here is another one http://www.fbi.gov/mostwant/terrorists/teralliby.htm
I will never understand. OU student blows himself up, sitting on bench adjacent to 80,000 fans. Full day required to empty apartment explosives. Arab (?) roommate interrogated and released. MSM silent.
These idiots keep coming from Saudi Arabia, and Syria. MSM silent. EXCEPT when US has casualties...
in case you missed it.
Yes. Glad to get any of the terrorists, but the guy in the link would be especially nice to nab.
The roomie was from Pakistan.
Maybe he was just depressed 'cuz OU football sucks this year.
Need to interrogate them to the maximum extent of the law before the McCain amendment ties the interrogator's hands!
I had a brain fart, as my daughter calls it. I knew he was from a predominately muslin country, and is living under the same roof, with LOTS of EXPLOSIVES, and he's back on the streets. That was enough to set me off!
WVU is doing good in the ACC. I am from NC, originally, and have always enjoyed ACC bball. There is no better group of competitors. After moving up here, I have adopted them, and have enjoyed their exploits. their football program is fun to watch interconference, as well...
ACC Has VT, Boston College, Miami, FSU (Felony State U), GT, Maryland, Virginia, Clemson, Wake Forest, UNC, Duke and NCSU. (I know, saved the best for last.... :D )
West Virginia is in the Big lEast.
I should have said "against"... oops. I knew that, but it was a brain fart.
Released, perhaps. Unwatched? Don't bet on it.
Are these IEDs pressure sensitive devices or remotely detonated devises? If they are pressure sensitive, we should load prisoners on flat bed trucks and make them drive point in any convoy. It's a old tactic but brutally effective.
I think they are remotely activated, but I would love to watch, wack-the-terrorist ...
He disappeared. Nobody has seed him since he was released. He had a job in the athletic department, but apparently hasn't been seen there either.
Zarqawi's number two man, I hear. /SARCASM
