[ How many ex-generals do we have? ]

More than how many on the list are democrats.?.
If 90+ percent are its simply a political statement..

Actually there are a few others.

In your case, I think you need to look into it more deeply.

Look at my earlier posts on this thread about the actual text and the link the UN document.

The whole thing is so ambiguous, that it totally shackles the hands of our intel people and military and gives the courts reasons "based on US law" to prosecute our own people for looking cross at a terrorist.

The intelligence we gain from captured terrorists is what allows us to foil attacks.

It comes down to what's more important, keeping a terrorist comfy, and allowing thousands of innocents to die, or interrogating them and save the innocent lives.

PC. The high brass wants to keep "clean hands." It's not their bailywick to stop acts of terrorism through coercive means. They get to keep clean hands, and it won't be blamed on them if terror plots go unrevealed.

Most of these guys, and Kennedy (the girlfriend of Terry McAuliffe's father-in-law)were big Kerry supporters, hoping to get a big job when Kerry won.

Somebody should tell them that old soldiers should fade away.

I wonder if the poor souls that jumped from the twin towers instead of burning up were worried about terrorists 'feelings' on the way down...

McShame has really gone beyond the pale this time.

Maybe McStain and Hillary could go back to vietnam for 5 years and get tortured for real.

Maybe they will get their ideas about how 'bad' America is out of their warped little minds. They hate the USOA but they don't seem to be packing their collective (carpet) bags to leave.

These are all nut jobs

What do you think (Ret) means?

General Joseph Hoar, USMC (Retarded.)

General John Shalikashvili, USA (Retarded.)

General Donn A. Starry, USA (Retarded.)

Pardon me while I amuse myself.

McCain, whatever else one may think of him, served his country honorably and knows very well what it means to be on the receiving end of torture.

Doesn't make him less of a nut case, did you see him on Fox News thursday night? They better get his meds right before he campaigns again, he could hardly put 3 words together.

This war against terrorists is unlike any war this nation has ever faced. The enemy does not wear a uniform and is not identifiable by sight.

Got to wonder what McCain's motivation really is, some days he is torturous to my mind.

I hate to even mention vietnam these days with all the rush to judgment in the media...

But the fight with Al Quaeda does share one feature with Vietnam - the problem of irregulars blending into the population. it sucked there too.

Point taken. Seems there are also a bunch of "irregulars blending into our population" right here in USA. Some of them are elected officials.
