I'll also tell you this as a matter of fact, until I see a significant difference in the 2 Party's, neither will get my vote.

Sometimes it makes sense to take a step back and consider what is most important. If a reasonable person were to examine what the two "major" parties claim to represent, a very stark difference would be apparent. If however, the comparison is made regarding the majority of what the two parties actually DO when in power, there is very little difference.

Both parties have the same basic goals..........

1. Raise money for campaigns

2. Get elected

3. Get re-elected

4. Expand the size, scope and influence of government

5. Take as much money from the economy as is possible, and cry that there isn't enough

6. Bad mouth and blame the other party for anything that goes wrong.

7. Pander to the demographic that can deliver large blocks of votes.

8. Get into bed with as many "big-money donor" special interests as possible

9. Remember the words of Al Davis, "Just win, Baby!" at any cost.

If one were an Independent voter, would he or she trust either party?
