Currently, word is Israel has been issued the green light via the White House to take care of business relating to Syria, and also capture Saddam's WMD, intact if possible, and place the former Iraqi dictator's 'missing' weapons 'on public display' in order to prove once & for all the radical Left was deliberately lying on this topic. You have no idea how much I hope this is true. I still wait for the day that these wmd's are discovered. I believe to this day that it will happen.

HEY you picked that right out of my brain. I have ALWAYS been convinced that Iraq'a WMD's went to Syria. There were arial photos of truck load after truck load after truck load heading for Syria in the weeks and months leading up to the war. And it makes sense. WHY would Saddam H. give up EVERYTHING - Complete power, billions of dollars to stuff his fat ass bank accounts with, if he didn't have ANYTHING? Never made a lick of sense to me.

In terms of Saddam's 'former' WMD 'stored' in Syria, France having oil-for-food deals with Saddam ,Germany & other nations having lucrative deals with ousted Iraqi dictator refused to participate in the Coalition, engaged in continuous, deliberate, stalling efforts & throwing countless diplomatic roadblocks through the U.N. in order to maintain Saddam (sweet oil deals) in power. All those nations in favour of keeping Saddam on his blood stained thrown including the domestic left-wing crowd needs to be shamed by the WMD's being captured & displayed for the entire world to view.

Obviously the issue of the WMD are a secondary consideration when it comes to Assad's Damascus rouge régime. Preventing Iran's partner in jihadic terrorism from opening a second front in conjunction with Hizballah & Hamas is paramount when viewing the eventual showdown with Tehran's 'nuclear' tyrants.

Israel has suffered long enough resulting from Syrian armed & trained Arab Muslim terror thugs, all of which have offices of terror in Damascus. The same terror gangs Syria 'assists'. There is an Near & Middle Eastern Axis-of-Evil, headed by Iran (the principal monetary, jihadic exporting power only possible through Iran's vast exportable petroleum profits.), Second within the makeup of the Axis, being Syria's ruling despotic Alawaites rëgime (only 15% of Syria's population) interlinked with Iran's Shi'ites, and thirdly, Lebanon's fanatical Iranian indoctrinated Shi'ite proxies, the terrorist madness Hizballah. Without Syrian & Iranian bankrolling plus 'protection', Hizballah's heinous horde becomes isolated and therefore far easier to confront & defeat. Syria: The official religion is Islam which accounts for 90% of the population, of which 74% are Sunni Muslims, while 16% are Alawaites, Ismailis or Shiite Muslims. Christians account for 9% of the population while the remainder are Druze.
