Although I'm not a pot-smoker, I tend to agree with you on that. Though I don't have the numbers to conclude my idea, I think that costs of alcohol abuse would be heavier than those of pot abuse. (keyword being 'abuse', though to be technically correct, any pot use would be considered abusive as it is an illegal substance. You know what I mean dammit!!)

Does anyone have the statistics for what we spend in the US on law enforcement, specifically for marijuana? Would be interesting to look at anyway.
