Police: Coat Hanger Used To Kill Motel Guest

SPEEDWAY, Ind. -- Police say someone used a wooden coat hanger to kill a guest in a Speedway motel.
The man, who police said is from Palatine, Ill., was found dead Monday at the Super 8 Motel near High School and Crawfordsville roads.
Police said the man had been severely beaten and had suffered wounds to his neck, back and chest.
A wooden coat hanger was found sticking out of the man's neck.
Police said the victim had checked into the motel Friday and was due to check out today.
No arrests have been made in the case.

I thought that Roe vs. Wade made it legal to kill people in hotels with coathangers, if the guy is a Dr. does that mean he can walk?

In all seriousness you would have to work darn hard to subdue someone with a wooden coat hanger, the first hit would generally put their PO'd meter all the way over to the red. It would take a lot of hits to put a healthy guy down with one, even stabbing him in the neck would take a while for him to drop. This guy/gal must have been seriously motivated to finish him off that way.

Some time ago on FR there was an article about a guy from Great Britain who killed somebody with a dessert spoon. I shudder to think of the mayhem he would have caused had he access to a tablespoon or - God forbid! - a fork.
