This morning President Bush met with Jose Manuel Barroso, President of the Commission of the European Communities in the Oval Office at the White House.
This afternoon, the President met with Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff, Cabinet Members and Legislators in the East Room of the White House to sign the Homeland Security Appropriations Act for 2006, which increases border security, and provides more detention facilities and speedier removal of illegal immigrants.
The White House website has provided a Fact Sheet with the details of the Appropriations Act.

Nancy .. you probably should have it if your doc recommended it, for if you're calmer now, it will be better for you Friday. You can just start with half a pill if you don't want the whole thing. Just taking it will probably make you feel better . .. when I've had to do that, the placebo effect worked like magic on me (but then I'm pretty suggestible that way). The BP levels are important, and this is for such a short time .. you know you'll be very monitored every step of the way. God bless you.

I missed the second half of Rush's answer concerning the President . . . What did he say exactly?
What I find quite amusing is that here is addressing the very Senate who would not even allow him an up or down vote, part of him must find that ironic and in a way victorious.
