These spoiled and pampered freaks of nature have never held real jobs and have never had to be responsible for anything. Imagine a punk making over $7 milllion a year saying that if the NBA wants a dress code they should buy his clothes!

Good point.

You ever see Tiger Woods dress like a punk? He is always dressed exquisitely, and along with his superb manners and extraordianry golf game, people admire him very, very much. All kinds of people.

Can't say that about young NBA players. They are thugs, and they dress like it. Too bad. They could do a lot of kids a lot of good. The same could be said for many pro team sports.

Thanks for your note.

Didn't say I was afraid, I've seen other people act scared though at black folks intent on dressing like gang bangers.

Indiana guard Stephen Jackson believes the NBA's new ban on bling-bling is racially motivated, but says he will abide by the rules.

That wasn't you who went into the stands in Detroit to beat up some white people?

I feel like if they want us to dress a certain way, they should pay for our clothes

Technically moron, they are paying for your clothes.

Not to worry, Allen. The league's image is well fixed already.

They are asking them to dress for the INDUSTRY, not the company. I don't mind the company setting a dress code. But these guys sell SPORTS GEAR, not suits. They need to wear the stuff they sell.

Of course they didn't read the part that said "while representing the team or league business". They are after all employees of the team. And they are a representation of your business and how you conduct yourself.

They are so quick to make everything racially motivated. Between the politically correct crowd and the racist groups who anyone stays in business is beyond me.

The endorsement of sports apparal is only a sideline for a professional athlete. Without their primary job as a sports figure on a playing field, their endorsment deals would be meaningless.

Right after they integrate the NHL.

The NHL has been integrated for years - hell, there's Swedes on every team!

My corporation and client is biased against my culture. They don't let me wear flannel shirts, blue jeans and Red Wing boots to work. The small matter that I represent both my corporation and my client to the buying public should be of no concern in my mind.

I am still arguing that I did nothing wrong when I pointed to a young lady's derriere and said, "Nice pooper there, honey!" This was normal and accepted behavior in the backwoods 'hood' where I was raised.

"I feel like if they want us to dress a certain way, they should pay for our clothes,'' he said.

They already do.

I wish the NBA would just go away - forever.

I'd like to see more body art in the NBA, there just isn't enough.

You'd think these NBA players would seize the opportunity and seek out some lucrative advertising deals with high-end lines of men's clothing.

On the other hand, maybe that's part of the problem . . . a "thug-rap wardrobe" endorsement deal is probably worth a heck of a lot more than an Armani deal.

Wondering why there are no racial quotas for the NBA. Must be some kind of a racist organization.

But these guys sell SPORTS GEAR

LOL! Then maybe they can quit their full time jobs and become salesmen instead..... I must say, that's one of the most specious arguments I've heard in a long time..

Where's all the outrage at the thug mentality in the NHL? What with the neck-breaking blindside cheap shots that drive the opponent into the ice face-first, and the old jugular slashing with the blade of ones skate to the neck, I'd say there's more thug like mentality in the NHL. What do hockey fans tell their kids when they see blood puddles on the ice after a sport sanctioned fight? Do they say look at how your role model just lost all of his teeth and got knocked the hell out? But I'm sure they where suits so it's ok.
