Oh, and BTW, the Astros suck.
And just how are we worse off than before he came to office?
And, just how in the world do you get an agenda passed when you have RINO's who cut and run or stab you in the back?
All of this stupid hate filled rhetoric because the President nominated a person he trusts for a very important position in the country. Maybe he should have resorted to a poll like the esteemed Clinton.
it was a joke. a bad joke.
Ben S. Bernanke (Ph. D., MIT, 1979), is the Howard Harrison and Gabrielle Snyder Beck Professor of Economics and Public Affairs at Princeton University and the Chairman of the Department of Economics. He is a macroeconomist with interests in monetary policy and macroeconomic history. He is the Director of the Monetary Economics Program of the National Bureau of Economics Research and the Editor of the American Economic Review.
Thank you for a voice of reason..
But 100 isn't a large swing, comparatively speaking.........Isn't he anniversaRY of Black Monday coming up?........
No, just the opposite. See the NRO link above and do some other checking.
Keynesian?
Wonderful. Just great.
Bush isn't a conservative.
He's a compassionate conservative.
Remember?
I posted this an hour ago and it wasn't "breaking" then.
Well Red, at least I don't think he will be raising interet rates every other week like Greenspan has been doing.
"The more we mock this President, the more the left gets bold. God help our troops."
With a few words you have said a lot and something we should heed. God Bless our Troops AND our President.
From the NRO article, here:

"Much right now is being made of President Bushs historic chance to remake the Supreme Court. No doubt thats true. Perhaps just as important will be Bushs Federal Reserve appointments, foremost of which will be Alan Greenspans replacement. For his views on taxes and growth-limits alone, Bernanke would be a big step in the wrong direction. For his views on money, Bernanke has the potential to be very dangerous. "

One country heard from. I guess this is something we'll have to see how it plays out over the next five years.
That's a scary thought
LOL!
1) Inflation DOVE
2) Supply-sider
3) Supports President Bush's Tax Policy
SOLID PICK
Pay no attention to them . Little minds, little people.
And just how would you pay for a war in Iraq? Or, I know, you never would have fought the terrorists - it is a lot cheaper that way. Just wait for the expense of the 100,000 dead in the U.S. Then you can cast hate-filled rhetoric against him for not protecting Americans.
And just what would you have done with the thousands wiped out by Katrina followed by the next big hurricanes? Just let church people pay for all? Afterall - surely God would expect only his people to help others.
And just what would you do about the illegals in this country who have children born here that are American citizens? Do you send their parents back to Mexico and allow them to find any available jobs for 9 year olds to make a way for themselves in the U.S.A.?
What would you do about the education system that is turning out ignorant people because it is just easier on the teachers?
Some of you do not even think through a problem. Just jump in there to criticize a President doing his best - the very same thing the democrats do. All criticism - no answers.
Will wait for your answers.

It's not all because of Miers. She was the proverbial last straw. This has been going on for some time. Bush has veered left a number of times, and those who are not personality cultists have taken note.
