And what kinds of "families" will these children make, one day? What the heck are their reference points?
I think is precisely the reason the occurence of RAD is rising exponentially. I work with the children of these loveless, groundless relationships all the time. They're empty. They have no roots, no foundation, no sense of identity. They, by and large, have parents with the morals of an alley cat and most often they have little or no releationship with a father. Siblings most often have different sperm donors fathers. It is a desperate situation, and society seems to have very little will to address this cancerous social disease.
