The most confounding thing to me is how few Americans realize the trouble we and our offspring are facing.

I guess it's sort of like MADD. Those moms didn't start MADD until they had lost children to a drunk driver.

People seem incapable of doing something about problems directly in front of them until the problem smacks them or their loved ones in the face.

I just wonder if or when we will ever hit critical mass. Perhaps our entire society as we knew it will expire without even a whimper.

Umm. Not that illegal immigration isn't a problem but there is a teeny difference between Latinos and "Religion of Peace" worshipers. The Latinos, for the most part, don't want to kill as many infidels as possible.

Surely you jest. Sarkozy is the one who started cracking down: he pushed through the headscarf ban in public schools, among other things. France has also been far, far more cooperative with US Justice Department and CIA efforts than even Great Britain--we even have a joint intelligence center in Paris. Just do a little Googling on "Alliance Base." Or start by looking at this article.

"Slums built to hide the muslims from mainstream Paris."Not just that,butI read they were designed so they could be easily isolated in the event of something like this(or worse).Exit and entry,power,food,you name it.Same thing in other cities as well.In a generation or two,it won't realy matter though.The French will be the ones in the slums.
