The scandle is either false or unprovable, and will probably end up just looking like a Forrester smear.

It'll probably help Corzine more then hurt him. That's the only reason they are reporting it.

New Jersey's GOP establishment is only a few steps below the Rats on the sliminess scale. Whenever a good, non-RINO candidate comes along, the GOP party bosses in NJ do everything they can to trash him. If he somehow survives and wins the primary, they withdraw all public support (like they did with Schundler).

This atrocious behavior is a profound and continual disappointment to NJ red-staters like me. Although I am registered Republican, I vote by positions, not by party. If I can't tolerate the GOP candidate, I won't pull a lever for him.

Please tell me that is not his real hair!

I've looked at some pictures up close, and on windblown days too, and I think its real. I know, that particular picture looks pretty goofy with the white sidewalls and all....

HERE'S MORE BACKGROUND INFO:

Corzine's ex-wife ratted him out, describing him as the kind of philandering creep that every soccer mom detests, a man so drunk with power, and his poliitcal ambitions, that he threw his family overboard when they slowed him down.

Corzine with one-time sweetheart Carla Katz at a New York City fund-raiser in 2002. Photo: AP. Katz is the hot pastrami---a union official---Corzine canoodled with that broke up his marriage. Corzine reportedly gave Katz some $470,000 for a "mortgage" that she never applied for. The more cynical say he paid her off bigtime as a campaign scheme to get her union to support him. Women might ask why Corzine had to pay 46-year old Katz $470,000 for a roll in the hay. That's mighty expensive sex.

Even more damaging, Corzine embraced the corrupt governor, Dumbocrat McGreevey, whose moral wreckage heaped scorn on that state, and incalcuable damage. McGay's most notorious crime against the state was appointing his boyfried, Golan Cipel, to direct the state's Homeland Security at a salary of $110,00 plus a Mercedes SUV, an expense account, and a "staff". Cipel's "staff" is supposedly still swilling at the public trough, doing God-knows-what damage on the public payroll.

Here's the two Dumbos Cipel and McGay at their "prom" the day they met----the lovebirds met two weeks after then-Woodbridge Mayor McGreevey proposed marriage to his now ex-wife, and brought Cipel to the US, housed closeby McGreevey's mayotal office. Israeli national Cipel couldn't get US security clearance b/c he was a citizen of a foreign country. Not satisfied with undermining national security, Cipel then figured he'd extort the taxpayers, and threatened a sexual harrassment lawsuit against the governor which precipitated McGay's resignation. When he resigned amidst a fanfare of publicity, McGreevey claimed he'd "just found out" he was gay (poster laughs uproariously).

Voters want to know what Corzine will suddenly discover?

-"I realize that NJ is a different world than the midwest, but could you guys in NJ not find a better GOP candidate than Forrester, who has flip-flopped on social issues?

Get used to it. Sorry to say (I live in NJ), but the only Republicans NJ will produce are "RINOs". Consider the geneology line....Kean, Whiteman, Forrester

Only recent nominee exception, Bret Schundler, and we know what the GOP state, and national, establishment did to him.

John Murphy who was third consistently behind Forrester and Shundler and won in Morris and I believe Ocean county and has been named for Senate '06...He is conservative, but Conservatives cant win in NJ...I'd rather a RINO than a Democrat...NJ Dems make Chuck and Hil look like Moderates

Wow, I just read that the "source" of the affair allegation against Forrester is "an email" that a newspaper received! And they are reporting that on an equal footing with direct statements by Corzine's ex wife and his admitted affair and payoff of a union leader. So really there is no Forrester story on this.
