Nope...I didn't see him, although he was there. Did see a lot of horses, though. This sequence is Ft. Huachuca's B Troop, an all volunteer cavalry unit that puts on shows here and elsewhere in the state of Arizona.
B Troop rides up Fry Blvd by twos.
The Cavalry Troop splits to form a line abreast.
The Troop has finished their move and is now in line formation.
The Troop Commander's sword, held like this, is the same as a salute. The command is to Present Arms.
The Ladies of B Troop follow behind...
In this maneuver, the Troop split at the center of the line and wheeled left/wheeled right to complete a circle and return to the line formation. I guess a video camera would have done the move more justice!

And you know I was there as I decribed exactly what you were doing with camera in hand at the ceremony area.
Ain't I a sneaky one. Even worse Shorty can confirm that I was there.

Maskirovaka!
When in the trees look like a tree, when among folks in military uniform be in like uniform. Yes, the ones I wore on active duty still fit with comfort.

Hi, folks...I am in Richmond with my girls. I wanted to tell you about my stop about halfway here at a Sheetz to get a drink and visit the ladies' room. I pulled in behind an SUV with a bunch of "support our troops" magnetics and a "Semper Fi" sticker. I watched as an older gentleman got out, pumped gas, and then came in. I went up to him and saw he had a hat on with "Marines" across the front. I told I had noticed his SUV and his hat and asked if he had served as a marine. He nodded his head (a little bewildered, it seemed, at my questions), and I put out my hand. I said, "I'd like to shake your hand and thank you for your service. Have a good veterans day." He thanked me and smiled, and looked a little teary-eyed. I felt so blessed to have the chance to thank him.
Ok...I'm probably not going to be online much. My girls and I are going to "partyyyyyyyyyyy"!!!

Wonderful pictures of the cavalry and their mounts. You must have had a great time. I'm not even sure that we had a parade. Didn't hear anything about it.

I had a wonderful time.
Leaving, OTOH, was a bear. Traffic was awful...when you only have one main street through town, and it gets closed off for two hours for a parade...!!!
