This needs verification, find out who this idiot was on the thread and check his credentials. I never heard of him... and i've been around as you know. We need to find out who said they had a bot on the poll just in case. We don't need a jerk damaging our name. I smell troll.

Freepers Hi-Jack Murtha's Poll: WND hails it triumphantly

Freepers Hi-Jack Murtha's Poll: WND hails it triumphantly

Some publications will print anything to protect the administration. Cynthia sent me this story via email.

WorldNetDaily posts this article: "The congressman at the center of the battle last week over withdrawal of troops from Iraq removed the results from his own Internet poll on the subject after online voters overwhelmingly opposed his stance....read on"

However, Free Republic has this: Congressman Murtha’s On-Line Survey: (scroll down for this comment):

To: Dr. Bogus Pachysandra
I just set a bot on it. hehehehehehehehehehehehehehe

watch it now!

Cindy said: "I wrote Joseph Farah at WND and and asked why he thought a freeped poll with bogus results being taken down was newsworthy (of course, in the article he doesn't mention the poll was freeped but he does mention Free Republic). Mr. Farah wrote me back and said:

"We actually thought it was quite newsworthy before it was taken down. But if you don't think so, please don't read the story."

We all have fun with these on-line polls, but I've never seen any publication actually note them to prove their own point of view after a site is announcing that they hijacked it. Hey Farah---never-mind.

This is the subject of what will be on the news as FR unfairly freeped the poll on Murtha's website; There are comments of voting several times as well on the thread. Maybe you need to talk to this member about not lowering ourselves to the standards of the other side or to be careful when they post to impress.
