Britain might be forced to discuss the advantages of Scandinavian models, which rely on more social security.

Back in the 1950's, Walter Reuther and his UAW hoped to push the US into Scandinavian style socialism. Fortunately, his model was generally limited to auto and other heavy industry.

On the downside, hundreds of thousands of UAW families over three generations succumbed to Marxist labor leaders and their democrat pols. They are now on a steep slide to a lower middle class existence of their own making.
