In the recent article, “Tribal backlash against insurgents aids US in Iraq” by Antonio Castaneda reporting from Samara, Iraq published in the Pittsburgh Post Gazette Dec 3, 2005, you see the following revelation:

U.S. soldiers heard some Samarra residents speak openly of the right of "legitimate resistance" to the American presence.
Where do terrorists get the concept of their “right of legitimate resistance” allowing them to kill not only American military personnel, but innocent women and children in hospitals, mosques and markets?
From Code Pink, an alledged peace group that continually tells terrorists that they have a right to kill Americans, as well as innocent Iraqi women and children.
Where has Code Pink told the terrorists that they have such rights? In the “Beirut Communiqué”, the “Declaration of the Jury of Conscience” of the World Tribunal on Iraq and on the CODE PINK website.
“We support the right of the people of Iraq and Palestine to resist the occupations.”

It should be obvious, from the recent news coverage of Howard Dean getting his balls handed to him by Code Pink, an American hero recuperating at Walter Reed getting an "I hope you die" letter from someone as yet unknown, and John Effin' Kerry working hard to turn this into another Vietnam, that the rabidly anti-American radical left (Code Pink is front and center) is not going to go away without our help. They will continue to get favorable coverage from the MSM until we tell them that we are mad as Hell and will not allow them to print lies anymore.

What infuriates me more than Code Pink spreading such propaganda, INTENDING to demoralize our troops so that we will lose the war, is that the White House will more than likely look the other way and let them get away with it!

Bush should be working overtime with the Senators and Representatives he trusts to strategize and reign in the negativity and lies the MSM is spreading. Remember the Clinton's "war room" and their rapid response team? Hell, it was effective and they were defending the indefensible!!!
The Bush administration should implement something similar to help stop the daily unanswered tidal waves of lies and negativity. Using the bully pulpit to demand media accountability when lies are repeated ad nauseam is a great place to start, but first his communications department needs overhauling. He can start by replacing Scott McClellan, whom the press corp treats with intolerable disrespect.
All networks need to be held accountable for spreading lies during wartime and if the FCC needs to hammer the culprits, by all means, make the fines public and painful! This administration needs to do whatever it takes to reign in this declared enemy of ours: the MSM and lying leftist organizations. Their only purpose is to gain political clout by lying and trying to destroy this administration and the war effort. Fighting back is WAAAAY overdue, but imperative to defeat the evil doers.
I often wonder if our President is oblivious to this untenable situation. Like a snowball rolling downhill, so is the negativity about him and his administration. If the President doesn't have the wherewithal to fight back and make the necessary changes, then where in the hell is Karl Rove?
