Attacks backfire on terrorists
TIKRIT, Iraq – Seven terrorists were killed in two failed attacks Dec. 24 in Salah Ad Din province.
Police in Samarra responded to an explosion and discovered the bodies of three unidentified men. The men were attempting to fire an 82-mm mortar at an unknown target when the round detonated prematurely. A fourth terrorist was taken to a local medical facility, but died from his injuries while attempting to escape.
A short time later, a patrol from the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team annihilated a would-be ambush near the city Ad Duluiyah. Terrorists attacked the patrol with small arms fire, but the Soldiers quickly identified and engaged them, killing three. No Soldiers were injured in the engagement.

More like an Iraqi policeman remembering the execution videos where 10 policemen were forced to sit through "court sessions". If you actually look at the videos, which I do not recommend on Christmas, you will understand that the guy probably did not die of injuries sustained BEFORE he arrived at the hospital.
In many ways it might be good that the MSM doesn't even bother to report on the Multi-National Forces Iraq Reports. If each of these stories were the top story of the day, as many of us would hope, journalists would investigate them and try to find another Fallujah mosque scandal. The fate of the above guy who "died of his injuries" might become a siren song to them. There is another recent report where a hostage is killed by terrorists just before an Apache engages and kills the terrorists. I don't want that investigated for obvious reasons. The overall gist of the story was that 9 terrorists were killed that day.
