Every time I visit Manhattan, the ugly hole in the skyline reminds me of what this election is all about. It's about 9/11 and who can provide the leadership to make sure 9/11 is never repeated.

Two problems with this.
1) I think people believe, rightly, that elections are about more than what happened almost half a decade ago. Not downplaying it, but aren't there other issues as well?

2) The right leader doesn't necessarily mean it won't happen again. Bush was in power on 9/11? Is he saying it was therefore Bush's fault?
