Cindy Sheehan said she will be part of the live audience during the president's State of the Union speech to congress Tuesday.
Bay Area Congresswoman Lynn Woosley gave anti-war activist a gallery pass late Tuesday, just hours before the planned State of the Union speech. Sheehan was in Washington to protest the president during his national address, but then came word she was invited to see the speech live.
A spokesman for Sheehan says she decided to accept the invitation two hours prior to the speech. The spokesman also said that Sheehan will be respectful and listen to the address because she is a guest of a member of congress.
Sheehan is expected to fly back to Berkeley Wednesday. She announced over the weekend that she is considering running for Senate against Sen. Dianne Feinstein.
How many people does the House gallery hold? I doubt its more than a few hundred. I didn't even think members of the House had passes to give out.
These nutjobs imagine that they have an inalienable Constitutional right to disrupt the State of the Union Address.
"Exactly - are the Secret Service aware of where she's sitting?!"
I'll bet there will be an SS agent within 1 seat of her! She is mentally unstable and a true threat to others.
This should be fun!
What is wrong with the SS allowing this creature that hates Bush so much, to be in the same room with him?
Dean and sKerry are child's play compared to this lunatic.
Pick a finger!
No, the press will try to use her to upstage the Pres.............
She may be able to keep quiet but I don't think she'll be able to hide the look on her face.
IMHO, a pack of 50 wolverines on crack couldn't hide that look.
sw
Now I know she's an airhead.

Shame on you, Lynn Woolsey

Rep. Woolsey. As first reported by the Marin Independent Journal, the outspoken feminist and anti-violence-preaching Democrat attempted to intervene in the case. She used her official stationery to send a letter to the local presiding judge in support of . . . the convicted rapist.
What explains Woolsey's soft spot for this violent sexual predator? Pearson is the son of one of Woolsey's aides.
Woolsey has continually raked in campaign cash based on her reputation as a tireless champion for women's and children's rights. She lambasted college campuses for inadequate collection of rape and sexual assault data. She aggressively pushed for the Violence Against Women Act, the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Victims' Housing Act, the Stalking Prevention and Victim Protection Act, the Date-Rape Prevention Drug Act, the Protection of Women in Prison Act, and the Battered Immigrant Women Protection Act.
Woolsey has promoted women's rights in Afghanistan; called for stronger prosecution of rapists in East Timor; performed in the "Vagina Monologues" to show her solidarity with victims of rape, domestic abuse and genital mutilation; and crusaded for the "United Nations Convention to Eliminate Discrimination Against Women" to show how much she cares for the oppressed women of the rest of the world.

Her ex-husband has got to be the happiest guy in the worlf.
Just another reason that I don't watch the MSM. I don't want to have to buy a new TV every time I throw a brick through the screen.
The secret service should position their largest agent right behind her with a big mallet. If she makes the slightest scene, WHAM!
Woolsey is a fool. Well, our 10 (minus 1 day) yr old may get to see a demidiot in action then.
Absolutely. No way she should be present, and the Secret Service had best keep her out.
I think they should invite her to give the Democratic response.
Who cares? The money is obviously coming from leftist sources of some sort, and might otherwise be spent on something that actually helped them in some way. Instead Sheehan's front and center displaying the ugliness of the left for moderate, independent and centrist VOTERS to see.
I hope she burns up as many bucks as possible in the process. First class all the way for the "Peace Mom"!
