From
this link that mentions the embassy protest last May (only story I could find in the British press actually), we have
Newsweek's bogus Koran-flushing story as the excuse for that display. Go to see the site to see a pic of the protest, BTW. Charming.
Thanks again, Newsweek.
Talk about a freaking LACK OF WISDOM.

What is astonishing to me is that muslims think they have the right to dictate to other of different countries and religions, what can and cannot be done, said, graphically depicted, or portrayed in film.
While the administration is busy exporting democracy to the middle east, muslims are busy exporting sharia to the west (and based on the response of the U.S. State Department and Jack Straw in the U.K., it looks as though the muslims are winning).

Does anyone think that all bashing of any religion is wrong?
Having said that, to react to such offense with murder shows spiritual bankruptcy and forfeits the right to be called religious.

I don't think so...we can't afford to loose in that sense (spreading democracy).

Islam and reformation are mutually-exclusive terms.

I don't think so...we can't afford to loose in that sense (spreading democracy).I think any predominantly muslim democracies may vote like democracies or republics, but sharia will be the law of the land.
I think our President is terrific...but IMHO muslim democracies will look more like Hamastan/Talibanistan than America.

Even so, some of the cartoons are gratuitously offensive. The Star would not have published them, although we affirm our right to do so.Here we have the Red Star showing it's true colors.

I'd like to see a gallery of cartoons from the Arab press that have mocked 9/11. And then I would like to..

They would not have published them, but reaffirm their right to do so? Typical leftist drivel. Did they publish photos of "Piss Christ" or the Virgin Mary in elephant dung? If they did, more proof lefties are cowards.

These Arab cartoons don't mock 9-11, but you can see the major themes running through them. I love the one on the top row left in particular. Leave it to the Palestinians to blame the US for Arafat and Fatah stealing their money.

Deport all of them back to their pestilential sand and dirt hell holes, where they may properly glory in their misery, and not be offended by freedom.

I don't think I really want to see their breasts, at least no more than every living man always wants to see breasts, but watching the reaction would be funny as hell.

I love it!
I'll download that one get I get home from the EOC. We're going to crank up a new lighting trailer tonight. 50K watts of power and 30K watts of emergency lighting all in one easy to tow package.
The guys have been working on it for months. Tonites the 'smoke test'. I told 'em to take some fire extinguishers just in case but that's kind of silly as these guys are all fire chiefs.
We're never happier than when we have new toys to play with. Wait'll we get the new Comm trailers cranked up..
