Protests Use of Photo in Controversy

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) - The Associated Press protested Wednesday the misleading inclusion of an AP photograph in a pamphlet purporting to show images offensive to Islam.

The picture shows a bearded man wearing fake pig ears, a pig nose, and a pink embroidered cap on his head. He was wearing the costume while participating in a pig-squealing contest at an annual festival in a farm village in southern France last summer.

The AP sent out the photo describing the pig-squealing contest on Aug. 14, 2005. The photo had no connection with Islam or the caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad published in a Danish newspaper in September.

The AP (ayatollah press?)is trying to hide what happened here. While the hog calling prize photo was not one of the original 12 cartoons published by the Jylands-Posten.

It WAS included in the set of cartoons taken on the road by a group of Danish Imams four months later to whip up Muslim sentiment on the Arab street.

I opened the pic in photoshop to remove the noise. You can tell it was a fake because the dog is the same size as the man and the white of the dog is brighter than the other white objects in the room.

I heard Roger Hedgecock relate this story today on Rush's show. It seems the Insane Mullah from Denmark who started all this crap used this AP photo of an entirely unrelated pig squealing contest in France to further inflame the Muslims. But, It no longer matters that the pic had nothing to do with Muslims...they needed an excuse to nationalize this insanity wheather it was true or not. They are F'n Nutz!

Hey that's not all those crazy froggies are doing. I have a friend who lives in a small village outside of Toulouse. Each year at harvest time they have a festival and a series of competitions with the neighboring village. One of the competitions is a pig dressing contest. It is just as it sounds. A team from each village must catch and put clothes on a squealing, slippery pig. First village to present its pig fully dressed wins. Needless to say, there is alcohol involved.
